About me:

I am a self-taught emerging Artist and Art teacher. I like to experiment with subjects, styles and techniques. My practice focuses on easel painting and paper, with media including but not limited to: Oil Paint, Watercolour, Colour Pencil, Pastel, Graphite, Ink, Charcoal, Acrylic, Silverpoint, Egg Tempera and Digital.

Common subjects include; portraits, figure, landscape, still life, animals, designs and illustration. I prefer to work from life whenever possible, (but mostly work with photos for animals).

I’m a fan and champion of traditional art forms and craft skills, which I am always trying to learn more about. I have an academic background in Archaeology, Anthropology and Painting Conservation/Restoration.
